下辖的船舶工程公司，由经验丰富电轮机长和船院的教授带领，由原北海船厂及青远航修厂的技术人员/工人等组成的一支经验及技术过硬的团队，负责各类船舶的船体/机械与设备的修理。
同时教授专家对轮机工程，有关主机遥控系统、机舱检测报警系统、电站及其自动化、自动舵、锅炉、分油机、造水、压载水管理、阀门控制、机舱泵浦管理系统、起货机等甲板机械，可以提供技术支持，进行设计计算与选型，现有设备控制管理系统的改造、升级、优化、增加PLC和计算机先进系统等等。尤其是故障设备控制系统的改造、检修。
